Natural Kangaroo Fancy Roping Reins -
Reins are 12- plait 1/8" beveled kangaroo leather braided over a rope core.  The barrel knots have 2 interweaves.  Some of the 2nd interweaves are with a slightly darker leather, giving it a nice contrast.  The long buttons are 6-bite X 3 with one complete interweave and a second interweave at the bottom.  The bit end connectors have the "Lone Star" button with no contrasting color in the interweave.
Reins are 112" (56 inches each side) including the connectors and just under 3/8" in diameter.  The weight is very nice, giving it a beautiful drape effect.
The kangaroo was soaked in a white gas/paraffin mixture prior to cutting and beveling the strings.  You can feel the difference (almost a snake-like feel), plus the wax permeates the leather making it water and sweat resistant.

Price:  $475
